Hello everyone! My name is Kelsey Davidson and I am a George Mason University student set to graduate Spring 2018. My major is Integrative Studies with a concentration in International Studies. My major allows me to take many different types of classes and really learn about the interconnectedness of this world. Also, the School of Integrative Studies has given me many opportunities to learn through experience. I have monitored the United States’ and China’s relationship for an entire semester in the Fall of 2016, volunteered at the Child Development Center garden to grow my understand about sustainability, and have had numerous other opportunities for experiential learning.
My minor is Teaching English as a second language (TESL). I have had the opportunity to take many graduate level classes because of this minor. I have met so many wonderful people through this program and have also developed my understanding of the English language. I have been able to take a TESL practicum class where I have been really able to put the skills I have developed as an LC to work. As you read through this site, you will see many examples of this.
